About What We Do & How We Got Here

Founded by Terry Galloway, Galloway Financial Advisors is a group of financial professionals who want to offer people a more individualized approach to investments. While big companies try to sell one-size-fits-all solutions, we understand that every person and every situation is different. We want to offer an alternative to your typical financial firm.

We have combined a group of experienced advisors who share some of the same goals and values. Meet Our Team

Terry Galloway spent the first seven years of his career with a regional CPA firm. He then joined Almquist, Maltzahn, Galloway & Luth, P.C. for the past 30 years, where he has been a shareholder for 27 of those years. At AMGL, he spent a lot of his time in Wealth Management and decided to continue that focus with his new firm.

Terry maintains 4 professional certifications by taking part in more than 100 hours of professional development each year. He believes in the importance of staying current in financial news and trends so that he and his team can continue to offer sound investment guidance.

Carrie Brooks

Account Administrator

Carrie grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska. She attended college at The University of Nebraska at Kearney. Carrie earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an the emphasis in Management.

Carrie owns a Human Resources consulting company called Connecting Resources, Inc. She enjoys working with small businesses and being able to help impact change.

Carrie and her husband, Jeremy, reside in Bartley, Nebraska. They have twin boys Bellamy and Haiden. They enjoy spending time at the lake, hunting, fishing, and being involved in the community.

Carrie serves on the Village of Bartley board of trustees is involved in the Bartley Young Guns, and participates in the Southwest Community Catalyst program.

Carrie is the Account Administrator for GFA. She is responsible for any account questions.

Katy Weissert

Investment Administrator

Katy grew up on a small family farm near Inavale, Nebraska. She attended college at Central Community College in
Hastings where she earned an Associates Degree in Health Information Technology. Katy has worked for Mary Lanning Healthcare as a patient representative/IT analyst for 10 years before joining GFA.

Katy and her husband, Mark, reside in Elwood. They have two beautiful daughters, Lakyn and Oakley. They enjoy spending time at the lake, attending rodeos, and watching Husker sports.

Katy is involved in many community organizations such as the Elwood Lions Club, Little Angels Daycare Board, and the Rural Development Board.

Katy is the Investment Administrator for GFA. She is responsible for all of your investment needs.

Jerry Galloway

Account Manager

Jerry was born and raised in South Central Nebraska, on a farm south of Hastings. He graduated from Hastings College with a degree in Business Management.

Jerry has been in Sales and Management for 45 years. He enjoys helping people and solving problems. His real passion is Walleye Fishing. He is an enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hunting and the great outdoors. He also enjoys collegiate and professional sporting events.

Jerry and his wife Wendy live in Sioux Falls, SD where they can enjoy all of these activities and Wendy even enjoys fishing herself, with their 10-pound Weiner dog Ace.

Jerry has two grown children, Heather and Justin, plus 7 Grandchildren and they all live in Sioux Falls.

Jerry is the Account Manager for Galloway Financial Advisors, Inc. and is here to assist you with your personal needs.
